What a beautiful day! The weather could not have been more perfect for what we wanted to do. We started the day off with a picnic lunch at Kings Mountain State Park where I did not forget to bring paper plates, napkins, forks, and cups!! Now, you must be saying to yourself..."How do you have a picnic without plates, forks, cups, and napkins??!!" well...you just get a little creative!

After our yummy lunch of hamburgers, watermelon, and veggie salad, we headed over to the Living History Farm where we discovered that we were the only people in that area of the park...no park rangers either! It was GREAT! No cell phone signal and no people...can't get any better than that:-)

After everyone has their "naps" we're going to be making chocolate milkshakes, popcorn and cracker snacks, and will be watching the old movie "National Velvet"! Then, it's bedtime for bonzo...well, for three little bonzo's....then early rise tomorrow for our swim day at our friends house!
